Florida Citrus Sports members and their guests packed the rooftop terrace of the Orlando Science Center on Monday, April 23 for Member Celebration.
The event program, hosted by Sun Sports personality Paul Kennedy, featured presentations of the Member Service Awards and first remarks from 2012-13 President Bobby Kuykendall.
Amy Pryor of the Orlando History Museum was named Rookie of the Year for her work with the Media Relations Committee, among others.
Karen Connors of Engineering and Computer Solutions was named Chairman of the Year for her tireless work with the Military Affairs Committee. Karen's husband Pat, an active-duty officer, flew home to Orlando to surprise her at the ceremony.
Milton Carroll of Aegis Business Credit was named Volunteer of the Year for his work with the Team Selection Committee, Team Support Committee and many others.
Bill Sullivan of I.Wanna Distributors was presented with the Howard Palmer Award for lifetime service after donating food for FCSports Foundation programs for two decades.
