Florida Citrus Sports is a not-for-profit organization made up of supporters of the Orlando community who believe that as a committed group, we can make an impact. That local support gives us the foundation to host two of the top postseason college football games in the country. Those events deliver tens of millions in economic activity for the region, hours of nationwide exposure on television, tremendous experiences for our residents and ultimately the resources to help those less fortunate in our community.
It all started in 1947 when the Elks Lodge 1079 hosted the first game to benefit the Harry Anna Children’s Hospital for Crippled Children. Building on years of pride and tradition, Florida Citrus Sports continues to be an organization of the community, for the community.
Big Time Matchups
Catch your favorite college teams and some of the biggest bowl events right in your own backyard: the Citrus Bowl presented by Overton’s 72nd anniversary, Camping World Bowl in late December and Camping World Kickoff in partnership with ESPN.
A Florida Citrus Sports ticket package includes priority access to tickets for the Citrus Bowl presented by Overton’s and Camping World Bowl. Depending on level, package holders also get special access to other items, including events such as the Camping World Kickoff and NFL Pro Bowl, parking passes to all events and more.
One of the best things about being part of Florida Citrus Sports is the ability to team up with other members and be an active participant. We offer a wide range of committees, events and volunteer opportunities, giving you plenty of chances to get out there, get social and be a part of the one of our region’s longest running traditions. Florida Citrus Sports plans regular gatherings throughout Orlando to encourage camaraderie and provide a great opportunity to network with one another both socially and professionally.
In addition to great games, the pageantry and traditions of college football make the game day experience like no other. From dotting the “i” in Ohio to Wisconsin’s 5th Quarter, Texas A&M’s Midnight Yell to Florida’s Mr. Two Bits, the fans bring their traditions to Orlando to create an unforgettable atmosphere for visitors and residents alike.
